Who edits and under which rules
Slide Rule publishes short notes on how statistical agencies and researchers measure secondary earnings and platform-mediated work. The desk is editorial, not advisory.
Topic selection
Subjects are chosen when a named public instrument, working paper or guideline offers a clear measurement question. Preference goes to primary documentation over second-hand summaries.
Citations
Claims that involve numbers, coverage or definitions cite the originating agency or paper in the same note. Where authors disagree, both positions are stated without resolving the dispute as settled fact.
Corrections
Factual errors reported to support@sliderule.online are reviewed and, when verified, corrected on the page with a dated note when the change is material.
Advertising
If advertising appears on the site, it will be labeled. Editorial notes are not written to sell a product or place a worker. Paid placement does not rewrite measurement critique.
What we do not do
Slide Rule does not collect testimonials, does not diagnose a visitor’s income situation, and does not present content as a sequence that produces earnings.
